JR/SR High School Edition Example Page
Each 321 JumpStart Middle/High School magazine includes three content blocks, with in-depth information about each topic. Age-appropriate writing develops student reading skills, while at the same time imparting vital information. Type selection, size and design are tailored to engage the student reader.

Parental involvement is encouraged with the Home Connection section located on the back cover. The Home Connection extends the learning by tasking parents to interact with their children in discussions and activities related to the content blocks within each issue. When dealing with "social" issues such as substance abuse, violence prevention and health and nutrition, the involvement of the parent in the learning process cannot be underestimated, and this feature provides a vehicle to facilitate that interaction.

Teacher's Guide
The accompanying Teacher's Guide provides a valuable resource to assist classroom teachers in extending the learning. Each Teacher's Guide includes sources for additional information, questions for discussion, pre-designed classroom activities, and reproducible masters that track student comprehension for each content block. Teacher's Guides are provided for every teacher at each enrolled school building and are included with the subscription at no additional cost.

 JR?SR High School Posters
The Building Poster Pack includes five copies of three different 11" x 17" full-color posters that reinforce the content blocks found in each issue. The posters provide a "social marketing" component to the 321 JumpStart magazine and assist in keeping the important key concepts top-of-mind. A set of 15 posters (five of each version) is included with the subscription for each enrolled school building at no additional cost.

The back cover of each issue is reserved for a custom message from either the school, school district, or any other organization.  This custom area provides a path to communicate directly with students and their parents without any additional costs. The custom imprint area may include information about upcoming events, local available resources related to issue content, or any other message. Graphic design of the custom imprint area is included with the subscription.
